BINIBECA
Binibeca, in the southeast of Menorca, is one of the most popular destinations on the island, for its peaceful atmosphere and splendid landscapes. With a lovely white sandy beach and quality services, it is an ideal destination for a quiet family holiday. The buildings are low-rise and there are hardly any apartment complexes, so most of the constructions are villas and private houses with Menorcan charm and typology, with their swimming pools surrounded by well-tended Mediterranean gardens.
The rocky outcrops stretching down to the beach are lined with accesses to the platforms and natural pools, a perfect place for sunbathing and snorkelling in the turquoise waters, which slowly caress the shore of the beach. Even the most reluctant swimmers will find it hard to resist a dip.
Characterised by its fine golden sand and transparent waters, BINIBECA BEACH is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, ideal for families and very safe for children. On its 400 x 40 metres of sandy beach there is a sun lounger and parasol rental service, as well as the veteran and picturesque beach bar "Los Bucaneros", where you can enjoy the beauty of the beach while you recharge your batteries with a simple meal, or fight the heat with a beer.
Just one kilometre from the beach is the FISHERMEN'S VILLAGE OF BINIBECA VELL, one of the most charming and famous corners of the islands: small white houses, a tiny church, arches reminiscent of Moorish architecture, narrow alleys and a port where the boats bob lazily. White and blue. The most seductive Menorca.
Built in the early 1970s, this tourist complex is halfway between Arab and Mediterranean style, imitating traditional fishing ports. Its irregularly shaped houses and a labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets make it a magical and enigmatic enclave, where you can breathe an unusual tranquillity. A sunset stroll through its nooks and crannies, watching the sun set after a day at the beach, is an almost mystical experience. The complex also has several supermarkets, ice-cream parlours, gift shops, restaurants, bars and playgrounds, which offer various leisure possibilities for holidaymakers in the area.
About 300 metres from Binibeca in the direction of Punta Prima we find CALA TORRET, a village hanging over the sea, made up of flats and houses in the typical fishing village style, which offers various services of interest: supermarket, bakery, bars and a few restaurants with large terraces on the seafront, with exceptional views, and platforms for bathing in the sea. The charming quayside becomes an evocative setting for a drink and good music in the evening.

Services in the area The surroundings of Binibeca offer everything our clients are looking for for a comfortable and relaxed stay, without depending on the car for daily plans: several small supermarkets with international newspapers, well stocked and open every day of the week, restaurants with good fresh fish, tapas and daily menus, and some bars with a calm and quiet atmosphere. A tourist train runs between Binibeca and Punta Prima and there is a bus service to Sant Lluis and Mahón. Other services available in the urbanisation include a cash machine, car and bicycle rental, diving club, and boat trips. In the nearby beach of Punta Prima (8 minutes by car) we will find numerous restaurants and shops, although at the same distance is the village of Sant Lluis, commercial and administrative centre of the area, with a variety of services (banks and cash dispenser, petrol station, supermarkets and various shops, chemist and doctors' surgeries, hairdresser, horse riding and tennis club, wine cellars, bars and cafés...), and with some of the best gastronomic restaurants of the island in the surrounding area. For a longer stay and a greater choice of quality, good local produce, etc., there are several large supermarkets in the area around Sant Lluis and Mahón. Our villas in Binibeca:
